Health Services support student’s success through health promotion, prevention services and education. The district nurses provide health information in classrooms and on an individual basis. Refers students for appropriate immunizations, medical care and promotes student and staff wellness. The district nurses facilitate vision screenings and coordinate management of chronic health problems such as; asthma, diabetes, seizures, and spina bifida. The district nurses are an advocate for linking home, school, and the medical community in support of student academic success.
