Schools Starting Week of September 10th!

Buildings are already bustling with staff and volunteers preparing for the start of another great school year. Specific start dates vary by grade and school, so be sure to visit your child’s school website or calendar.

Why a later start this year?
Eight days of student instruction were restored to the 2012-13 school calendar. However, new attendance boundaries and grade configurations caused a large number of staff and student transfers. In order to provide additional time for buildings to prepare, the Board adopted a modified calendar from the traditional start date after Labor Day this year.
