Adapted Physical Education
Adapted Physical Education (APE) is developmentally appropriate physical education that addresses the individualized needs of students who struggle with gross motor developmental delays. APE may include adapting, modifying, and/or changing a physical activity so that it is appropriate for the student to be successful in their educational environment.
APE Swim
Oregon City Schools offer adapted physical education in swimming (APE Swim) to students who meet the criteria.

APE Swim session 1 starts October 18th
APE Swim is every Thursday.
Group 1; 11:05-11:35
Group 2; 11:40-12:10
APE Swim Dates:
October 18th & 25th
November 1st, 8th, 15th, & 29th
December 6th, 13th, & 20th
January 10th, 17th, & 24th
Tips for parents:
The locker rooms at the pool can get crowded, names on the labels of your children’s clothes help identify clothes to students.
Please send a plastic bag with your child to put wet suits and towels into for the trip home.
