Homeless Education

The Oregon City School District has half-time Homeless Liaison (Mary Ellen Winterhalter) who works with school staff to identify students who may qualify for homeless status (according to the McKinney-Vento Act) and, once identified, works to remove barriers these students may have in accessing their education.
